ME/CFS awareness display posters available!

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) have produced a great 28 COLOUR A4 PAGE VISUAL AWARENESS DISPLAY about ME/CFS! Please help us increase the awareness of ME/CFS by arranging a display in a locality near you - at a library, community house, health service or information centre! Help us reach our aim of having the display placed in over 100 locations throughout Victoria, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory in 2010 or in any other location our members may live.

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity awareness project

Malcolm Hooper, Emeritus Professor of Medicinal Chemistry Department of Life Sciences University of Sunderland, provides the scientific evidence AGAINST the use of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and graded exercise therapy (GET) as the primary treatment approach to ME/CFS in his recent paper.

Holidays from Home: Travel without leaving your house!

Claire Wade, a person with ME from the UK, developed the idea of virtual holidays when she found she wasn't well enough to accompany her family on a holiday. By surrounding herself with pictures, objects and cooking the food from her desired region, she was able to experience the sights and tastes of another culture.

The Whittemore Peterson Institute have posted some common questions and answers related to ME/CFS and XMRV on their website.

Free Live Web Broadcast with Judy Mikovits PhD, 5am Thursday AEDT

Judy Mikovits PhD will be visiting the Cheney Clinic on Wednesday the 10th of February (USA time) to observe an ETM and to discuss an up-coming research collaboration with Dr. Cheney on XMRV and CFS. She has generously offered to present a talk to Cheney Clinic Patients and Cheney Research website visitors about her work with XMRV.
