Community Speakers Program

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) provides speakers to community groups and health organisations to provide information on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, its treatment and management.

Community speakers are trained volunteers with a personal experience of ME/CFS, either having the condition or being close to someone who does. Volunteer community speakers are able to cover topics within the realm of their personal experience. These may include:

• Their experience and knowledge of ME/CFS;
• Management of ME/CFS, which includes dietary options, food/chemical intolerances, pacing and living with ME/CFS; and
• Information, education, programs, services and resources provided by ME/CFS Australia (Victoria).

Speakers from ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) are able to work with interpreters should your group require one.
