Gut dysbiosis and other illnesses

Is gut dysbiosis a common pathway of illness development for ME/CFS and Autism?

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, author of 'Gut and Psychology Syndrome' and Donna Gates, author of 'The Body Ecology Diet' talk about the importance of the gut and food with regards to autism in this series of videos. They discuss ‘gut dysbiosis’or the wrong gut bacteria being a significant cause of autism and other illnesses.

ME/CFS is not mentioned in the videos, however Prof Kenny De Meirleir treats ME/CFS as a gut-immune-neuro toxic disease; many of his patients have been found to have a gut dysbiosis. Refer to his conference presentation slides here for further understandings.
