ME/CFS Victoria provides specialised services to members of our organisation. Benefits of being a member include:

• Receiving our quarterly journal 'Emerge', containing articles and medical information on ME/CFS;
• Borrowing access to the organisation's resource library of books, journal articles, CDs and DVDs;
• Access to support groups across Victoria;
• Access to the informal teleconference- and internet-based support groups;
• Discounts on courses and groups run by ME/CFS Victoria;
• Eligibility for personal advocacy provided by ME/CFS Victoria staff, for those who would otherwise be turned away from a service;
• Opportunities to participate in events and seminars organised by ME/CFS Victoria.

Your membership allows ME/CFS Victoria to:

• Dedicate staff time to lobbying politicians and significant persons in the relevant health departments at both state and Commonwealth levels;
• Continue to provide information kits on diagnosing, treating and managing ME/CFS to GPs and other health practitioners across the state;
• Continue to update our website so that it can provide the latest information to the public, health services personnel and politicians, assisting us to further advocate on your behalf free of charge;
• Provide free telephone advice and counselling on the ME/CFS Support and Information Line, we currently provide telephone support and advice averaging 40 minutes per call to well over 1,000 callers per year.

Membership fees

• Ordinary (inc.GST): $40 per annum
• Concession (inc.GST): $20 per annum

New members will receive an information pack consisting of:

• A copy of the most recent 'Emerge' journal;
• A copy of our library catalogue;
• A number of documents on ME/CFS and the services provided by the organisation.

For current members, please note that membership renewals are now due 12months from the date of joining.  Current members will be provided with a membership renewal form either by email or post prior to their membership expiring.  We accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards, cheques and money orders. Payments can be made by phone, mail or in-person (by appointment) at the Dandenong office. Please call (03) 9791 3100.
