Telephone conference for Support Group leaders

A telephone conference call (link up) for current support groups leaders to get together is occuring on Tuesday August 24th at 1-1.30pm.

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) Self Help Courses for People with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia

Self help courses for people with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia are held regularly and are facilitated by staff from ME/CFS Victoria. Courses run for six 1½  hour sessions over eight weeks, and are based on the Bruce Campbell text 'The Patient's Guide to CFS and Fibromyalgia'.

First international workshop on XMRV - Jul 27th, 2010

Readers will be interested to note that the first conference on XMRV will occur on September 7th and 8th at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

Article in New York Times: Delay in study on CFS prompts outcry - Jul 15th, 2010

From the New York Times website:

Researchers at the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration, citing a need to re-evaluate their data, have delayed publication of a new study believed to provide evidence of a link between chronic fatigue syndrome and a little-known retrovirus.
