They shared stories, treatments and information and an overwhelming feeling of understanding permeated the room. The Shepparton ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia support group held a meeting last week.
Thirteen people from across the region shared their battles with the debilitating conditions.
The stories were varied — from one who has suffered fibromyalgia for 27 years, another who was just diagnosed with CFS, to those who care for family members with the conditions and even one who is nearly over CFS.
