ME/CFS Victoria provides a range of services to the general public as well as our members.

Annual Membership cost is $40 or $20 for concession/ pensioners.

General Services

Long Consultations – Fee-Based Service

A 60 minutes phone or face-to-face consultation with a professional member of staff from ME/CFS Australia (Vic, Tas, NT).

Education Session for Parents of Children, Teenagers and Young Adults
Learn strategies to help support young people with ME/CFS and/or Fibromyalgia.
Professional Education Services

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) provides tailored education sessions on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, its treatment and management to professional groups and organisations.

ME/CFS Self-Management Course

Learn self management strategies for ME/CFS and Fibromylagia

Community Speakers Program

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) provides speakers to community groups and health organisations to provide information on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, its treatment and management.

Support and Information Line - (03) 9791 2199

The Support and Information Line is available to provide practical information or a 'listening ear' for people to talk about their illness, or that of or a close friend, family member or patient.

Health Practitioners Directory

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) holds a list of health practitioners of whom our members have had a positive experience with in regards to their ME/CFS.

Awareness Raising and Community Education

A key role of ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) is to raise awareness of the condition amongst health professionals, government, community agencies and the general public.

Public Internet Access

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) hosts a Public Internet Access computer for people with ME/CFS, their friends, families and carers.

Designed to support people who may be physically or socially isolated by their condition and/or situation.

This discussion board is open to anyone aged over 18 who is a current member of ME/CFS Australia (Vic, Tas, NT). It is a safe place for people with ME/CFS and/or Fibromyalgia, their families, friends and carers to connect with others, share experiences and find support.  For more information on membership, please click here.

ME/CFS Support Services Booklet

ME/CFS Victoria have compiled a booklet containing information on services in Victoria for people with ME/CFS. The booklet is A5 size and is available to current members from the office for $5 a copy.

Support Groups

Support Groups are run independently and meet in various locations in Melbourne, regional Victoria and other States.

'Emerge' Journal

The quarterly journal of ME/CFS Australia (Victoria).

Library

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) holds a collection of books, CDs, DVDs and other resources related to ME/CFS that are available to borrow.
