ME/CFS (Victoria) is holding an afternoon at the movies for members, their families and friends to catch up with others and enjoy a movie to help fundraising efforts at ME/CFS Australia (Victoria).

Movie: THE VOW- Rachel McAdams & Channing Tatum star in the drama THE VOW – a beloved wife sustains severe memory loss from a terrible accident and her husband must make her remember and fall in love with her all over again.

ME/CFS (Victoria) is holding an afternoon at the movies for members, their families and friends to catch up with others and enjoy a movie to help fundraising efforts at ME/CFS Australia (Victoria).

Date: Saturday February 11th, 2012.

Time: After 12pm, to be confirmed closer to the date.

Ticket Cost: $14.00

Location: Waverley Cinema, Pinewood Shopping Centre. Blackburn Rd, Mt Waverley (close to the Monash Fwy)

ME/CFS Self-Management Course

ME/CFS Australia (Vic, Tas, NT) runs self-management courses for people and carers with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia over seven x 1 hour sessions in person or by telephone link.  This course is available to people located anywhere in Australia.  Calls are initiated from the office; participants do not incur any telephone call charges (only to landlines).

A professional facilitator will conduct telephone conference calls for small groups of people with ME/CFS.
Sessions will be conducted with a problem solving approach to issues.

Alison our CEO presented a workshop to the Victorian Practice Nurses on nursing management, latest research and scientific understandings of ME/cfs.

 

 

Dandenong Support Group
