ME/CFS Australia (Northern Territory) is the only territory-wide support service for people with ME/CFS, their families, friends and carers in the Northern Territory. ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) auspices ME/CFS Australia (Northern Territory) located in Darwin, and is staffed on Mondays and Thursdays 9.00am – 12.30pm.

ME/CFS Australia (Victoria) and ME/CFS Australia (Northern Territory) would like to sincerely thank the Northern Territory Government, particularly the Department of Justice, for their generous Community Benefit Fund grant in 2009. These funds have been instrumental in providing critical services in the Territory for people with ME/CFS and their families and carers.

As well as providing personal support services, the grant has allowed ME/CFS Australia (NT) to participate in community awareness raising initiatives, including making presentations to community groups, health professionals and service providers. Ultimately, increased awareness of ME/CFS at the service provider level will contribute to improving the wellbeing of the ME/CFS community in the Territory, and we are extremely grateful to the Community Benefit Fund for the opportunity.
