Devonport

The Devonport Community House currently have regular support group meetings.  They meet every second Tuesday of the month except January from 2pm - 4pm. Groups are facilitated by a Community House worker, and family and friends are welcome.

The support groups at the Devonport Community House have up to 12 members who regularly attend sharing afternoon tea, books, information and tips. For more information or to register your interest, please contact Kate Beer, Coordinator, Devonport Community House Association Inc.

Guest speaker bookings for 2010 include a reflexologist, podiatrist, iridologist and dietician.

Launceston

The Launceston Support Group meet at the Kingsmeadow Community Health Centre, McHugh Street on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 11am - 1pm. A social group, they also keep in touch via phone. Currently the group has over over 15 members. Contact Sue Hilder for more information on 6344 3256.

We would like to help the younger people establish a teenage group and also a young adult group, and we would like ideas on how to do this.
